The Doll's House (Sandman, Book II) - Neil Gaiman et al.

(library)
It seems a little ironic that I got to sleep late because I was up reading a book about the Sandman, ruler of Dreams. The storyline in this collection captivated me, and I was curious to see how it would turn out. Aside from a couple asides (one of which is an interesting look at immortality), the rest of the book is a cohesive storyline. The artists have a bit of fun with nightmares that escape into the real world, a riff on Little Nemo, and the extra-creepy Cereal Collectors Convention. Some of the storyline referred back to events in the first book (Preludes & Nocturnes), but unfortunately I'd already returned it to the library and couldn't backtrack.
