I first came across one of DiTerlizzi's illustrations (from this book, in fact) in a book of sci-fi/fantasy art, and so when I saw this book at the library I had to check it out. It's a picture book with a longer story, and is about an imaginary friend named Ted, the trouble the boy gets into with Ted, and his dad who has forgotten how to have fun.
