Babies and Other Hazards of Sex: How to Make a Tiny Person in Only 9 Months, with Tools You Probably Have Around the Home - Dave Barry

When this was written I was probably not old enough to read it, but it's still just as amusing, inaccurate, and immature as it was back then. It's not necessarily an encouraging thing to read if you're about to have a baby, but Robyn and I both got some good laughs out of it. And it's probably even funnier once you've had kids yourself ... preferably after they've graduated from college.

Barry covers everything from deciding whether to have a baby to pregnancy to birth to the third year (the age his own son was when he wrote this book). An excerpt from "The Stages of Development of the Fetus":

WEEK 10: The fetus is almost 12 millipedes in longitude and has a prehensile tail and wings. It will probably lose these things before it is born.
If you find Dave Barry incredibly annoying, don't bother; if you're looking for some silly humor about babies, this one's a classic.
