The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe - C. S. Lewis
Robyn and I decided to read through the Chronicles of Narnia together, and we recently finished the first book. I'm ashamed to admit that it's actually the only one of the seven that I'd read before now (though I've read parts of some of the others). It's just one of those series that I kept meaning to get to and never did.
What can I say about this one? It's a classic, of course, one that everyone should read as a child, and then again as an adult. Lewis' Narnia is magical and enchanting, and it's wonderful to think of a land that the kids can only enter by accident.
