Yellow & Pink - William Steig

This is a kids' book that satirizes and encapsulates the Creation-versus-Big-Bang debate. Yellow and Pink, two wooden dolls, awaken to find themselves lying on some newspaper with no idea how they got there. Pink supposes they must have been made, but Yellow finds that preposterous and explains how they might have come about by accidents. It's short and simple (maybe a little simplistic) but makes a good point, and with more charm than you usually come across in this debate.
