17 Things I'm Not Allowed To Do Anymore - Jenny Offill & Nancy Carpenter

This is a charming little picture book that I read about somewhere and got from the library, although I'm not sure if it's going to just give kids sneaky ideas that they might not have had before. The illustrations are wonderful mixed-media, with fabric textures, different types of paper, and photography, all overlaid with sketches and drawings.

The book is basically the list from the title, as told by a mischievous little girl who makes me think of Ramona. "I had an idea to staple my brother's hair to his pillow. I am not allowed to use the stapler anymore." Very cute, with lots of little details in the illustrations, and plenty of bad examples for your kids.
