Extra Lives: Why Video Games Matter - Tom Bissell
This is another book I picked up at Comic-Con, and I really enjoyed it (despite some unexpected bits about drug use in the last chapter). It's a great look at video games, of all things. One of the most striking aspects of it is that Bissell is a writer first and a video game player second, so he can actually communicate well about them. It doesn't hurt that he has some great insights into the world of games as well.
