9-11: September 11th, 2001 (Stories to Remember, Volume 1 & Volume 2) - various
(read a little while ago, found in bookstore)
A collection of short comic book stories done by various artists and writers in response to 9-11. Some are of superheroes and their thoughts and actions after the attacks; some are more abstracted; some are depictions of the events of the day. A few artists put themselves in the picture as well: how can you go on drawing comic strips and superheroes after something like this has happened? Since most of the stories are fairly short, there are many different perspectives and it can be a little much to digest all at once; but then again, so was 9-11.
