Run For Your Life: A Book for Beginning Women Runners - Deborah Reber

(came at a discount with No Need for Speed)
A very happy read, in which I learned many of the basics on what it means to be a runner. Tips on things like what to wear, where to go, how to stay safe and injury-free, and best of all, how to stay motivated. Lots of quotes from women who started running at all ages, giving me that "Hey! If a 54-year-old who only started running five years ago can finish a marathon, so can I (someday)!" feeling. Not intellectually stimulating or scientifically rigorous, but exactly right for its purpose, which is to make women like myself feel like they can run.
