The Art of the Matrix - Spencer Lamm (ed.)

(Saw in Barnes & Noble a while back; my first purchase with my employee discount at Waldenbooks)
For fans of "The Matrix," this coffee-table book would make a perfect (albeit pricey) gift. Besides including the shooting script, there are also notes on the script (with a few deleted scenes). But the script is only an addendum to the real treat: the storyboards and design illustrations for the movie. The Wachowski brothers decided that in order to sell their idea, they needed more than just the usual movie storyboards, and hired comic-book artists to illustrate some of the more complex scenes from the movie. The result is a book that I could enjoy as many times as the movie.
