My Friend Rabbit - Eric Rohmann
This is a kid's book, with bold relief-print illustrations, about a mouse whose friend rabbit seems to always be getting into trouble. The illustrations are fun and cheerful and would make great posters. The story, on the other hand, seems to teach children that it's okay to stay in destructive relationships with irresponsible folks because, well, he's my friend. It purports to be about patience and loyalty, but really it's about Rabbit always relying on Mouse to bail him out of trouble. Is this the sort of lesson you want your kids to be learning?
