Fairy Tales for Grown-Ups - Jennifer Rowe
We found this one at a Powell's "Square Deal" sale a while back and bought it cheap. It's a tiny little book with seven modern-day fairy tales, with a bit of grown-up humor. Most of the tales have twists on the traditional "happily ever after" ending, and they're set in the here and now, though with talking animals, fairies, and trolls. It's a really quick read, pretty funny, and a cute take on today's world.
