Talk to the Hand: The Utter Bloddy Rudeness of the World Today, or Six Good Reasons to Stay Home and Bolt the Door - Lynne Truss

Lynne Truss is the author of the extremely popular puncuation book Eats, Shoots & Leaves. This book is her rant about rudeness, split into six main categories, and peppered with anecdotes and news articles illustrating her points. It's a very quick read and pretty funny in parts, but it doesn't quite have the zing that her previous book did, probably in part because she is an expert in punctuation but it's hard to be an authority on rudeness.

Also, her focus is more on the British, whom Americans may be surprised to discover are just as rude (or ever ruder) than themselves. Still, her examinations of (1) why we feel the world is ruder than ever and (2) why this bothers us are witty and insightful, and if you're the sort of person that loves an extended rant from a wacky Brit, this is the book for you.
