Why Are You Doing This? - Jason
The only other book I've read by Jason is Sshhhh!, which is entirely wordless. This one has the same blank-eyed anthropomorphic animals, but with dialogue and color. It's a murder story: Alex the dog-man goes to his friend's house to find him dead and gets framed for it. Then he's on the run from the police, while trying to find the killer. But despite this, it's not really an action comic, and Jason manages to ask some thoughtful questions about what makes life worth living.
Like Sshhhh!, it was over too quickly.
