What Would MacGyver Do? True Stories of Improvised Genius in Everyday Life - Brendan Vaughan

I've always been a big fan of "MacGyver," the TV show about a mullet-wearing hero who gets himself out of tight spots with things like paper clips, his watch, and a little ingenuity. Vaughan collected stories at his website and then selected the ones that he felt best displayed qualities of MacGyver: improvised genius to "fix, repair, rig, solve, build, invent, or otherwise save the day." From car problems to wardrobe malfunctions, the stories cover a wide range of topics and are (for the most part) pretty entertaining.

But not as entertaining as popping in a "MacGyver" DVD and watching that.
