Concrete: Depths - Paul Chadwick

This is the first Concrete book that I've actually purchased. It is, as I stated in my review of "Heights," volume 1 in its particular series publication. This volume retells Concrete's origin story, as well as some of his early attempts to find worthwhile things to do with his powers: swimming the Atlantic, for instance. He also takes a job as a bodyguard for a crazy Prince-like musician, and goes deep-sea diving.

Concrete is still one of my favorite comics, one in which I'm not disappointed by the writing or the pictures, all the more surprising since it's all done by a single person.
